NEW DAY - NEW WAY

Over 46 years ago, I made a commitment to begin each and every day with acknowledgement of God and meeting Him in His Word, the Bible, that I might learn to know Him and to know His thoughts for my life. Now, I have come the place of knowing His voice, His thoughts and His plans by His life in me, the hope of glory. It is Christ who dwells in us if we believe, and Christ who leads us into our life of service to Him by His Word (Truth), His thoughts, and His Life of steadfast and patient listening for His Father God’s voice and seeing with His Father God’s eyes. Thus did Jesus become the living sacrifice to teach all of us His Way. Then, He made the payment of death for all of our sins. Now, it becomes our choice to either believe and follow Him into a life of purpose for good, or disbelieve Him and follow instead, a life of strife and competition as we strive to make our own way into and through this life we have been given to live.

The Now of my life includes all that God has taught me and all the way He has brought me, through the trials and triumphs of a very ordinary life made extraordinary by the presence and guidance of the One who saved me, taught me and guides me, day by day by His Word and His Way. My life is now 76 years old and has brought me to a time of aloneness in the world, by the death of my husband of 57 years and the maturing to adulthood of my children and grandchildren. Now God is saying, “Launch out into the deep and follow ME into the rest of your life and service in the earth.” My prayer is that by sharing the words and thoughts God has shared with me through the years, you may begin to see and feel the wonder and excitement of whatever lies ahead in the life you have been given to live.
